About Us

We are a group of multidisciplinary artists who strive to create all-original, immersive murder mystery musicals served with a side of culinary indulgence. Our productions fuse razor-sharp storytelling and  live immersive musical theater with a sophisticated fine dining experience.

From the moment you step into the historic National Exchange Hotel or the Holbrooke Hotel, you’re not just attending a show... you’re stepping into another world. Guests play alongside suspicious strangers, overhear dangerous secrets, and unravel deadly plots, all while savoring a multi-course curated menu

Robert Rushin
Creator & Executive Producer

Robert Rushin has been an active member of the Nevada City theater community for the past five years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theater, Film & Television from UCLA and was most recently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His Bay Area stage credits include My Beautiful Laundrette, The Homosexuals, and Buyer and Cellar. Locally, he has appeared in the new musical Gold Can’t Love You Back, Rent, and Honk! Beyond performing, Robert also produces a dynamic slate of theatrical and community events, ranging from drag brunches and bingos to open mic nights, continually contributing to the vibrancy of the local arts scene.

Ryan Wink
Lead Writer & Producer

Ryan Wink is an accomplished performer with over 20 years of experience as an MC and singer. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to songwriting for films, commercials, and television. In addition to his music career, Ryan is a comedic actor, screenwriter, and playwright. He served as the lead writer for the Gold Rush-era musical "Gold Can’t Love You Back" and has led the writing team for "Dead Beats & Co." since its inception last year.

Cody C. Enicke
Writer, director, Producer

Cody Enicke’s creative work began on stage in Omaha, Nebraska, where he performed in numerous community theater productions including The Laramie Project, Side Show, Poseidon! An Upsidedown Musical, Edward II, and Christmas with the Crawfords. His path later led him to Los Angeles, where he worked behind the scenes as a coordinator and producer on television projects such as American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Undercover Boss, and The LYLAS.

Currently based in Nevada City, Cody creates immersive theatrical experiences—writing, directing, and performing original work for private gatherings and community theater—including Slay, Queen! A Homecoming Horror for Dead Beats & Co. His love of storytelling spans multiple forms, with ongoing projects in film, short stories, and long-form fiction.
